Abstract

Underpricing is a phenomenon that still occurs in the Indonesian capital market, where the offering price of shares in the primary market is lower than the opening price or closing price on the first day on the secondary market. This study aims to examine the effect of Return On Assets (ROA), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), company size, underwriter reputation, age, and interest rates on the underpricing of shares in companies’s Initial Public Offering (IPO) listing on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in 2009 to 2017. The population in this study are companies that conduct IPOs on the BEI period 2009 to 2017. The sample selection in this study uses a purposive sampling method, based on certain criteria. The sample in this study were 183 underpricing companies from 205 companies conducting IPO in the period 2009 to 2017. The data used in this study used secondary data. The multiple regression analysis was implemented in this study. The results showed that DER, company size, and underwriter reputation did not significantly influence underpricing. While ROA, age and interest rates have a significant negative effect on underpricing. In this study, investors consider ROA, age, interest rates compared to DER, company size, and the reputation of the underwriter to invest in companies that make an IPO.Keywords: Underpricing, Initial Public Offering, and Indonesian Stock Exchange.

Abstract

A college as a service company in carrying out business activities or educational activities, generally what must be considered is the orientation towards consumers, which concerns what companies must satisfy their consumers. In service companies, especially higher education institutions that are consumers are students, with more attention to aspects of customer orientation, of course, the goals to be achieved by the company will be realized. Problems that occur at the University of “X” make students feel dissatisfied and this causes complaints or complaints, including: inadequate parking, campus websites that are often slow, completeness of damaged facilities and infrastructure, administrative services that tend to be long.The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze the effect of service quality and university reputation on student satisfaction, with trust as a mediating variable. The population in this study were students from University “X” enrolled in the odd semester 2019/2020 Study Plan Card (KRS) of 22,753 students. The number of samples in this study were 99.56 students rounded up to 100 students (based on the Slovin formula). The analysis was carried out with the help of the SPSS program. The variable relationship model will be analyzed by path analysis. The result of research show service quality and university reputation have a direct effect on student trust at Universityof “X”. Service qualityand university reputation have a direct effect on student satisfaction at University of “X”. Abstract

Despite the abundant opportunities in the Indonesian bank industry, the digital era began to challenge banks to fully embrace the use of technology (information) to prolong competitive advantage. An organization becomes a reflection of its top managers. In facing such challenges, Top Management Team (TMT) members' initiative to overcome the current status quo, will be reflected in the company under their management. For this reason, an effective TMT structure is mandatory during the digital era to digitalize banking firms. This research investigates the relationship between top management team characteristics and Indonesian banks' financial performance during the digital era. For top management team characteristics, this research includes functional background, gender diversity, average age, level of education, IT Expertise, and experience in years. While to measure the performance of Indonesian banks' financial performance the paper includes return on asset (ROA), capital adequacy ratio (CAR), and non-performing loan (NPL). The results show that gender diversity has positive significant influences on NPL, average age have positive significant influences on ROA, CAR, NPL, and IT expertise have positive significant influences on CAR.Keywords: Bank, Top Management Team, Financial Performance

Abstract

Abstract:  The bank soundness rating in terms of the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) is used to measure the soundness of a bank based on capital against Risk Weighted Assets (RWA). Therefore, evaluating the soundness of a bank is very important because it is useful to know the condition of the bank in a very good, good, good enough, bad or not good condition. And later it will be used by the parties concerned in making decisions. Data collection methods include the method of observation, interviews and literature study, where the discussion used is descriptive qualitative, namely the method of data analysis without using statistical methods. By looking at the case studies that occur, the focus and subfocus of research become a reference in this study. The results of the acquisition of CAR PT. Bank XXX Syariah in 2018   amounted to 16.25%, in 2017  amounted to 15.48% and in 2018  amounted to 14.92%. From the results of the acquisition of CAR, it shows that PT. Bank XXX Syariah is in a state of "Very Good" because it has met the minimum standard stipulation of Bank Indonesia CAR of 8%.Keywords: Bank Health, Capital Adequacy Ratio Abstrak: Penilaian tingkat kesehatan bank ditinjau dari Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) digunakan untuk mengukur tingkat kesehatan bank didasarkan pada modal terhadap Aktiva Tertimbang Menurut Risiko (ATMR). Oleh karena itu, penilaian terhadap tingkat kesehatan bank sangatlah penting karena berguna untuk mengetahui kondisi bank dalam keadaan sangat baik, baik, cukup baik, kurang baik atau tidak baik. Dan nantinya akan digunakan oleh pihak-pihak yang berkepentingan dalam mengambil keputusan. Metode pengumpulan data  meliputi metode observasi, wawancara dan studi pustaka, dimana pembahasan  yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, yaitu metode analisis data tanpa menggunakan metode statistik.Dengan melihat pada studi kasus yang terjadi , fokus dan subfokus penelitian menjadi acuan dalam penelitian ini. Hasil perolehan CAR PT. Bank XXX Syariah pada tahun 2018   sebesar 16,25%, tahun 2017  sebesar 15,48% dan tahun 2018  sebesar 14,92%. Dari hasil perolehan CAR tersebut, menunjukkan bahwa PT. Bank XXX Syariah dalam keadaan “Sangat Baik” karena sudah memenuhi standar minimum ketetapan CAR Bank Indonesia sebesar 8%.Kata Kunci: Kesehatan Bank, Rasio Kecukupan Modal

Abstract

Abstract.    This study aims to test, first partially or simultaneously the factors that influence Financial Performance at PT. ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) Ambon. This study uses secondary data, namely PT. ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) Ambon from 2010 to 2014, and the type of research used is quantitative descriptive type. The analytical method used in this study is financial ratios and multiple regression analysis using the help of a SPSS 20.0 computer program. The results of this study indicate that the first hypothesis partially has a positive influence between the size of the company that is proxied by ln total income and financial performance that is proxied by NPM at PT. ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) Ambon is 0.507, and the second hypothesis shows that there is a positive influence between the projected capital structure and DER and the financial performance proxied by NPM at PT. ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) Ambon amounted to 0.570, then the third hypothesis shows a positive effect between the company's growth which is proxied by sales turnover and financial performance that is proxied by NPM at PT. ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) Ambon of 0.851. PT. ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) in running its business must be more effective, efficient and economical and pay attention to factors that affect financial performance. This is very important because it can increase Net Profit Margin. Abstrak.    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji, pertama secara parsial maupun simultan faktor – faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap Kinerja Keuangan Pada PT. ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) Ambon. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder yakni laporan keuangan PT. ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) Ambon periode 2010 sampai dengan tahun 2014, serta Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah jenis deskritf kuantitatif. Metode analisa yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah rasio keuangan serta analisis regresi berganda dengan menggunakan bantuan program komputer SPSS 20.0. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa hipotesis pertama secara parsial terdapat pengaruh positif antara ukuran perusahaan yang diproksikan dengan ln total pendapatan dengan kinerja keuangan yang diproksikan dengan NPM pada PT. ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) Ambon sebesar 0,507, dan hipotesis kedua menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif antara struktur modal yang diproyeksikan dengan DER dengan kinerja keuangan yang diproksikan dengan NPM pada PT. ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) Ambon sebesar sebesar 0,570, selanjutnya hipotesis ketiga menunjukkan pengaruh positif antara pertumbuhan perusahaan yang diproksikan dengan sales turnover dengan kinerja keuangan yang diproksikan dengan NPM pada PT. ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) Ambon sebesar 0,851. PT. ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) dalam menjalankan usahanya harus lebih efektif, efisien dan ekonomis dan memperhatikan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja keuangan. Hal ini sangat penting karena dapat meningkatkan Net Profit Margin.

Abstract

Abstract.  This study aims to determine whether good corporate governance is able to strengthen/weaken the influence of information asymmetry on earnings management. Data collection uses secondary data obtained from financial statements using saturated sampling techniques. The population is all companies listed on the LQ 45 Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) of 45 companies, and all companies are used as samples. The results of this study have tested classic assumptions and data analysis methods using multiple linear regression techniques and moderating regression analysis (MRA).The results show that information asymmetry has no significant positive effect on earnings management, which means that earnings management is no longer determined by information asymmetry but is determined by other factors. While the variable of good corporate governance showed significant negative results. This means that good corporate governance can weaken or reduce the effect of information asymmetry on earnings management. So with the decline in information asymmetry in the company, earnings management actions also decline. Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah good corporate governance mampu memperkuat / memperlemah pengaruh asimetri informasi terhadap manajemen laba. Pengumpulan data menggunakan data sekunder yang diperoleh dari laporan keuangan dengan menggunakan teknik sampling jenu. Populasinya adalah semua perusahaan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek LQ 45 Indonesia (IDX) yang berjumlah 45 perusahaan, dan semua perusahaan digunakan sebagai sampel. Hasil penelitian ini telah diuji asumsi klasik dan metode analisis data menggunakan teknik regresi linier berganda dan moderating regression analysis (MRA).Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa asimetri informasi berpengaruh positif tidak signifikan terhadap manajemen laba, yang berarti bahwa manajemen laba tidak lagi ditentukan oleh asimetri  informasi tetapi ditentukan oleh faktor lain. Sedangkan variabel good corporate governance menunjukkan hasil negatif signifikan. Ini berarti bahwa good corporate governance mampu melemahkan atau menurunkan pengaruh asimetri informasi pada manajemen laba. Jadi dengan menurunnya asimetri informasi dalam perusahaan maka tindakan manajemen laba ikut menurun.Keywords: Information Asymmetry, Profit Management, Good Corporate Governance.

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to examine the negative effect of job stress on organizational commitment; positive effect of job satisfaction on organizational commitment; negative effect of job stress on performance; positive effect of job satisfaction on performance; positive effect of organizational commitment on performance. The target population were all 45 JBP High School teachers. The sampling technique used was saturated or census samples. The data was collected through a questionnaire and analyzed using Partial Least Squares - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) approach using SmartPLS program. The results showed that the job stress negatively affected organizational commitment and performance. In addition, the organizational commitment and job satisfaction had a positive effect on performance.Keywords:  Job Stress, Job Satisfaction, Organizational Commitment,  Performance Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efek negatif dari stres kerja pada komitmen organisasi; pengaruh positif kepuasan kerja terhadap komitmen organisasi; efek negatif dari stres kerja pada kinerja; efek positif kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja; efek positif dari komitmen organisasi terhadap kinerja. Populasi target adalah semua 45 guru SMA JBP. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah sampel jenuh atau sensus. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan Partial Least Squares - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) menggunakan program SmartPLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa stres kerja berpengaruh negatif terhadap komitmen dan kinerja organisasi. Abstract

Abstract: There are many success stories that are attributed to KSM Sanimas, though there are plenty of failure experienced as well. One of the reasons for its failure was the commitment of the committee to be remain active in the management of the Sanimas KSM for it’s independence and sustainability. Empowerment approach that involves the entrepreneurship topic of was introduced to be able to answer these problem. As a result, researching the factors that would influence an individual's commitment toward their independent involvement would be most interesting, and would need to be considered within the developments of the existing KSM. This research uses 5(five) dependent variables which are role of supervisor, internal relations of the organization, family support, KSM's business potential, and environtment awareness which is associated with independent variables, personal commitment. This research uses quantitative method using 134 respondents of KSM Sanimas agents of change. The result of said research shows that family’s support and KSM’s business potential have significant relationship with the variable of personal commitment. While the three other variables the role of supervisor, internal relations of the organization and environmental awareness did not show a significant relationship to the variable of personal commitment.Keywords: Sanimas, empowerment, independence, personal commitment Abstrak: Banyaknya cerita keberhasilan pengelolaan KSM Sanimas tidak kalah dengan cerita mengenai kegagalannya. Salah satu penyebab kegagalannya adalah komitmen para pengurus untuk bisa tetap aktif dalam pengelolaan KSM Sanimas demi kemandirian dan keberlanjutan dari KSM Sanimas itu sendiri. Pendekatan pemberdayaan yang melibatkan topik kewirausahaan diperkenalkan untuk bisa menjawab permasalahan tersebut. Oleh karena itu menarik untuk menelusuri faktor apa yang dapat mempengaruhi komitmen personal untuk tetap ikut serta mengelola KSM mereka secara mandiri. Penelitian ini diperlukan untuk menjadi bahan pertimbangan bagi pengembangan KSM-KSM yang sudah ada. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan melibatkan 134 responden para penggerak KSM Sanimas. Penelitian ini juga melibatkan 5 (lima) variabel terikat yaitu peran pengawas, hubungan internal organisasi, dukungan keluarga, potensi bisnis KSM, dan kepedulian lingkungan yang dikaitkan dengan variabel bebas yaitu komitmen personal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel dukungan keluarga dan potensi bisnis KSM memiliki hubungan signifikan dengan variabel komitmen personal. Sedangkan tiga variabel lain yaitu peran pengawas, hubungan internal organisasi dan kepedulian lingkungan tidak menunjukkan hubungan yang signifikan terhadap variabel komitmen personal.Kata Kunci:  Sanimas, pemberdayaan, kemandirian, komitmen personal

Abstract

The organization in the era of globalization increasingly rapidly make competition in an organization is tight. Organization of the government can optimize sued for human resources and how to manage human resources. Employees are the key for organization, wealth where they will be planner implementation and control are an active role in creating the organization. Employees have mind feelings and desires that might affect on the work he was doing this attitude will determine how much love of working for him to loyalty to the organization.The purpose of this study is to find the influence of the application of remuneration, change management and organization cultural on the employee performance RSUP Prof. Dr. R.D. Kandou Manado. This research take 60 a sample of respondents in RSUP Prof. Dr. R.D. Kandou Manado, using economic research to get a response to statement and using analysis multiple linear regression assisted a statistical analysis.The results obtained the research is together there are significant influence between remuneration, change management and cultural against the employee performance of organization. A partial remuneration significant against the employee performance, change management influential significantly against the employee performance is the positive and significant between organization cultures against the employee performance RSUP Prof. Dr. R.D. Abstract

This study has purpose to research the influence of work discipline, compensation and motivation on employee performance at PT Mitra Sintera by using a saturated sampling technique. The total sample of this study is 108. The data method was collected with a questionnaire. This research uses the validity and reliability test, the classic assumption test, analysis multiple linear regression and analysis coefficient of determination, t test and F test using by software program SPSS 25 version. In the results test for the coefficient of determination obtained from the work discipline, compensation and motivation variables have an effect of 16,4% on employee performance. In the results test for multiple linear regression obtained the work discipline influences the employee performance by 25,2%, the compensation influences the employee performance by 20,1% and the motivation influences the employee performance of 19,9%. In the results of t test obtained that the work discipline has partially significant effect on employee performance, the compensation has partially significant effect on employee performance and the motivation has partially significant effect on employee performance. While in the results of F test obtained work discipline, compensation and motivation together have simultaneously significant effect on employee performance. Keywords:  Work Discipline, Compensation, Motivation, Employee Performance
